A research topic realised in cooperation with the Brazilian partner at the University of Maringa, within the framework of the executive protocol of an inter-governmental agreement (bilateral cooperation). Subjects of diploma theses:

Subjects of diploma theses are closely related to investigations being presently carried on at the Department and concern the ecology of riverine environments: among others, the biodiversity of ichthyofauna and benthofauna in running waters and oxbow lakes, the impact of anthropopressure on the state of ichthyofauna and benthofauna, changes in the composition and abundance of vertebrate and invertebrate fauna recorded in monitoring research, biology of selected representatives of vertebrates and invertebrates. Material for the theses, dependent on the subject and students’ preference, may be collected both in the course of field research expeditions and in the course of laboratory work.
